Pulau Jerejak gained its alias as The Alcatraz of Malaysia because of the Jerejak Prison. Theres an online 'contest' which awards you with a 3day 2nite stay at Jerejak Resort and Spa. Did they move the prison??? Have they turned P.Jerejak into a resort?

You're right! It's called Pulau Jerejak Spa and Resort..
A lot of facilities have been added to this (fomerly prison for notorious gangsters) island to attract tourists. The prison has been refurbished and you can even have a spa in that resort.
Anyone wants to feel how a prisoner live there, this is the place to visit while on holiday!

cant imagine staying there for a holiday... there's negative energy whenever people are locked up... look at Pudu Jail for instance. i get the creeps when i look at it, with all the dilapidated walls and depressing energy surrounding it. no way i'm staying at pulau jerejak, besides there are other nicer islands.
