Technically it's not undefined, there are an infinite number of answers. Here is the easiest way to explain it:

10/0 = x

Multiply both sides by 0

10 = 0x

Since anything multiplied by 0 is 0, x can be any number.

What does 6 divided by 3 mean?

It means what number can you multipy by 3 to give you 6
the answer is obviously 2

What does 10 divided by zero mean?
It means what number can you multiply by 0 to give you 10.
There is no such number
So there is no solution
So the answer is what we call "undefined"

on most calculators there will be an error message displayed tecnicly division by zero is mathmaticly immpossable
