No, Taco Bell just felt that that particular advertising venue had run its course and they used other methods before the dog got too stale to use.

Yeah, he died, but all the Taco Bell customers got a little bit of him to keep, dude. For a while, anyway.

Well, I'm frightened to see that at this minute, I'm one of at least three that have the"poquito chihuahua" still wrapped in plastic...

Haha! Good question. I seriously have no idea. Maybe people were starting to think dog hair was in their food. I still have a stuffed animal of him. He talks when you squeeze him.

No he didn't die.

He was simply retired.

the dog wasn't making enough people run for the border- so they retired him.
