Coffee smells incredible but I find it to strong to drink. The same thing as Almond flavoring.

I love, love, love the way sauted onions and bell pepper smell, but I would gag on them if I had to eat them.

YES!!! I agree with the coffee. Other foods that I LOVE the smell but don't like the taste are honeydews, mushmelons, and, weird enough, popcorn. I don't like eating popcorn, but love the smell. I guess that is weird. A good question!!

Yeah, coffee. I agree. Smells wonderful, but tastes bitter.

Also, bananas. Smell great, but have a weird texture and a funny after taste.

Although I've never tasted this......the smell is so addicting that after cleaning a bathroom or moping the floor when the smell wears off I just want to get up and clean again......Pine Sol......I would never attempt to taste Pine Sol but I have to admit that is one of the best smells.

Yes. Liver with onions. It smells yummy but i think it tastes bad. I don't think it has happened the other way around, though. If it smells bad, i don't even taste it. Weird huh? Maybe those things taste good?

Yes I was buying tea and there was this raspberry one which smelt so good that I had to have it and when I tried it, it was awful. I love the smell of coffee and the taste of it.

Coffee leaps to mind; I have always found the taste disappointing.

Many extracts and flavourings smell wonderful, but most cannot savour them in their pure form.
