I was going to go back to work this month after the births of my twins. They are now 6 months old and are breast feeding and i was going to wean them off and onto the bottle, but i am now 2 and a half months pregnant with another lot of twins, should i keep breast feeding my 6 month olds now? the only reason why i was weaning them was because i was going back to work but im not going back now?

oh it sounds like you know the answer...its much eaier to breastfeed so make it easier on yourself and don't stop yet...I think I would quit when I was about 7 months pregnant if your body can handle it...eat good food and drink a ton of liquids and enjoy it all..congratulation..you sound like a true Mommy

If you are happy to continue feeding then do so. Make sure you are eating plenty of healthy foods and taking care of yourself. There is no reason to quit feeding just because you are pregnant. But if it does become to much for you then do stop. Breastfeed as long as you feel comfortable.
Good Luck

I have heard that you should not breastfeed while pregnant because the baby takes alot of nutrients from your body, and so does breastfeeding. But I have Also heard that as long as you are eating healthy, getting enough vitamins, and you don't feel completely overwhelmed it is fine to do. Talk to your doctor, he/she will probably be able to give you the advice you need.

As long as it is working for you and them then I would continue. There is no risk to the babies you are carrying. Just make sure that you are eating healthy and drinking lots of water. You will also want to let your OB know that you are still nursing your twins.

Congrats!

Your doctor should really be the one to answer this question. My opinion is that if you are comfortable with weaning your children early, then you might as well do it now, and let the babies in your belly have full access to all nutrition your body can provide, but I confess I know nothing about how that works or if any of the babes, born or unborn is really in danger of any nutritional loss. I would be curious to know what the Doc says.
