There are two basic views of thinking. Two theories.
The once faction (Einstein tends to favor this one, as do the Creationist Religious) says there is something greater in the universe than man, an intellegence, a force and that force put us here and made us they way we are with willfull intent and for a purpose.
The other faction (Planck tends to favor this one as does Hawking and Dawkins) says things just happen because of the way the universe works and we came about as a result of serendipity and are here for no special reason other than what we make of it all.
Free will, you get to pick which one you want to accept as reality until some concrete proof occurs (and I wouldn't hold my breath for that one, you might turn blue waiting).

I'm pretty sure you mean the here as in existing. And that is up to you. If you believe in creationism, then it's because God said so. If you don't, then I guess the answer could be "Just because." For all we know, there isn't a reason.
Note:
I don't really want to include every single religion. I chose creationism because it is what a lot of people that speak English believe in. I am NOT choosing one religion over another for any reason besides that.

There is no why: there is how. It took several mass extinctions on this planet. Without the last one, mammals like us would never have come to occupy all the evolutionary niches we now do, because dinosaurs ruled the planet. Humans often seek reasons where there are none, or ascribe it to the will of a deity or deities, or spirits. Some things just ARE.

We are here because,in some way the universe developed the capacity to become aware of itself.
We among, millions or billions of other aliens are the product of this awareness, this consciousness that was initiated by the universe
We are the eyes and ears of the universe.
If it had not initiated this situation it would be doomed to run it's course as an unknowing raging beast.

oh, oh i know the answer, it is because our planet was in the Goldilocks phenomenum range
The "Goldilocks phenomenon" is the necessity for conditions such as size or temperature to be "just right". The term derives from the story of Goldilocks, who preferred porridge which was "not too hot, and not too cold".
A widely used example of the effect is the Sun's habitable zone, which is likewise neither too hot, not too cold for life to exist, and where the Earth is to be found. Astronomer James Lovelock, proponent of the Gaia theory, is credited with inventing the term.

We are here because all of us has a reason. A reason to believe that we are here in this planet in a purpose. We spend our life getting things that cannot be reached or touch. We want those things but we are hindered by a something we cannot understood.

If we were someplace else we would not be here, we would be there.
But then there would be here and we would be here and here would be there, so it looks as though we have no choice, if we were neither here nor there, we would be somewhere, and then somewhere would be here.

Because massive objects occupy a given space, and that by definintion means we have to be somewhere at any given time. (Not that I'm suggesting that you are "massive" lol)
