i don't agree with you at all,and personally im glad to see india out of the world cup-do you think just because there is a billion of you guys you are more important than anyone else.WRONG!!! your team got what it deserved for playing rubbish cricket,you guys call the Aussies arrogant but india was the most arrogant of them all-by not taking lesser sides seriously.

I think it's good for the world cup. Not so much that India specifically are out, but that some of the big teams lost out to the smaller ones. It'd just be boring if it's always between the same few teams. Ireland and Bangladesh getting through has made it more interesting and also bodes well for the future, as now the "minnows" will be encouraged to believe that they can get somewhere.

While I quite agree with you regarding revenue loss, since India was not considered as hot favourite to win the world cup, interest in the world cup will continue even after exit of India from the world cup.

the best teams are still in the series,no one cares about how much money anyone is making or not making, its all about the Game!
India is just another team that lost so they are out BIG DEAL
India needs to realize they are NOT the best in the world and will not be missed

No, losing money does not affect the significance of the world cup. in years to come people will read about who was the world champion and what upsets took place. nobody will care about ICC and other zillion dollar organisations losing some money.
