it's a 98 dodge neon sohc i swapped out for a 96 dodge neon dohc,now i can't get it to run,got any good tips or manuals i could look up?

i would agree with the computer answer. what you might try is to get the computer from the donor car, and change the prom inside the computer. the prom is a computer chip in the computer, and it is made to be able to be taken out. also check all your wiring. if after changing the computer or the prom, and checking all the wiring doesn't work.......to put it mildly, you got big problems, and might have to change the engine wiring harness. i think (I'm not positive with out seeing it) that these engines have different ignition systems. it's not impossible to fix, provided you have a lot of mechanical experience. also, if you don't what the abrevations mean, you are not gonna be able to help, or understand how to fix it. DOHC-- dual overhead cam SOHC--single overhead cam

what the hell does this mean? People dont find time to even expand the abbreviations and lose out on many good things due to it.
