In order to weed out corrupt politicians and all others(people who fail to do their duty and ask for bribe in order to do their duty itself) and we should have strong laws that people get disciplined
and further never dare to do wrong deeds which affects our country as a whole and to completely bulldoze caste, religion and regional based politics of our worthless politicians....
But the person should not involve into moral policing or something of that which again is being done by our politicians in the name of culture and other crap....

Kavekarst though your point is good on paper its not practically possible and IF i redirect this question to you what Would you do that in first place

when people in power dont get things done right then its the responsibility of each and everyone to think for other options available, but that doesnt mean everbody should take the law into themselves.

You want someone else to do all the dirty hard work while patting yourself on the back? Why bring in a strong leader
for your idea when reader could 'weed out' India. Yes, run
amuck, which is your duty as an Indian. Lead by example in moral policing. See that politicians get disciplined, not by a
strong law, but by your strong arm. Go out, I say, and pinch
'em on the bum (... in the name of culture and other crap ).

Yes ofcourse, we need a strong leader with the following qualities:
1. Must be young - around 40 years of age
2. Must be a No-NonSense guy
3. Must not have a family
4. Must be Broad-Minded
5. Must NOT be interested in coming back to Power again
6. Should NOT buckle under pressure
7. Should be capable of taking Decisions

If such a person is found; and has the right attitude with no selfishness whatsoever, then I think he can take the right decisions and also implement them.

Yes. It is very diffficult to become a strong leader.
We need a strong leader for our family but as no have faith in other, so all are weak, sad, mad.
If leader has full support from best workers, he can be strong.
Amitabh Bachchan is good and strong but he is getting weak due to various unaviodable circumstances. It happens with all. In the begining all are strong. I was strong at the time of my marriage. I was king / dictactor. She I am slave of dictator.

This country was founded on Independence from the dictators that were in England in 1776. Why would we revert to having a dictator now. I understand that there are problems in the govertment but we have the system set up to fight these problems and You are the first step. Become active in your local goverment and see where it take you. Our founding father set the first programs in motion its up to you to follow what they said and clean up the problems that you see.
