Is it that hard to see the intention of a statement without breaking down the literal context?

I am dumbfounded by people who are capable of reading an entire statement and rather than commenting about the points made, they find a grammatical error in it or a word misused when they know exactly what you meant. Are some people just desperate to point out your faults rather than having a quality discussion? Or is it just constructive criticism?

Those sort of people usually just suck at life,but some people are really bothered by such things and we call them "schizo".
