This will be gravity fed - not a power shower as it's for a new guest en-suite and we don't want our guests using all our hot water! Any recommedations please?

without a doubt Aqualisa showers are great value for money, i have personally sold them since 1979 when they first came into the market place. They have been the innovators for years in the trade and whilst mira etc are ok i would only ever have Aqualisa in my own home.

If the guests are not getting hot enough water, they will turn down the cold water. I don't believe a mixing valve will cure this problem unless you adjust it to a cool temperature. I like Moen valves myself. Your water heater may need an upgrade to a larger model. The water saving showerheads use 2-1/2 gallons per minute. So a 10 minute shower uses 25 gallons of water. If half that is hot water, thats 12-1/2 gallons.

I've got a tapmate victorian style one with a huge shower rose. Cost about £200 from B&Q and works a treat. Can't comment on any other brands.

Hi,
I would recommend a 'MIRA' Thermostatic shower, they are simple, safe and efficient to use, plus they have been well and truly tested over many years.
