Yes, as long as you have patience...first, they need to be healed completely, ie have no gunk on at all, otherwise they'll need to be cleaned regularly and this could cause problems. Secondly, you need to remove the jewellery every time you feed, as it can cause the child's mouth to form incorrectly (bones are still soft). So its a lot of work for you, taking jewellery in and out constantly, but if you are determined then good luck. I thought I had the patience but after a month of feeling like a milk machine, I gave up and took my piercings out permanently. I don't regret this, after all my baby's wellbeing is the priority, but I will get them repierced at some point in the future. The other thing is, the baby loves that fast flow, you may need to get teats with bigger/extra holes in if your baby ever moves to a bottle, they may be annoyed at the slow flow!!! Good luck, I hope you have more patience than I did!!

if you mean can you get a nipple piercing and still be able to breast feed your child after being pierced then its perfectly possible.if you mean can you breastfeed your baby with the piercing on then i would say no although some women do it.the problem is that the piercing might have bateria on it and you dont want to expose your child to that, its easier to clean the nipple without a piercing on it.for more information go to this url: http://tattoo.about.com/cs/piercefaq/a/110603a.htm

yes u just have to take the jewelry out while u feed obviously. if you are worried about flow issues you can have your nipples checked by ur doc. sometimes there is a bit of an issue with flow of the milk because of scar tissue from the piercing but lots of moms have no problem.

Pt yourself in the baby's position, how can you comfortably suck if there's a darn ring there. Nipples are meant for babies to suck, not to be pierced with a ring in situ! Boy what kind of mother are you?
