Boy thats terrible. And to think of all those employed people who can't afford to go on vacation cause the government takes all their money for taxes.

Bad Sign? Does that mean that some percentage of the unemployed were vacationing, who pays for the vacation, and what is it a vacation from? Does that make sense....No..they were unemployed! Duh, they were already on vacation... not going to work daily, seems like a vacation to me.
