Chopin's solo work for piano is really good. Try the CD "Chopin: the Four Ballades" played by the pianist Evgeny Kissin.

I'm a classical guitarist, so I especially like solo pieces for classical guitar. My favorite classical CD of all time is "Bach: Lute Suites" played by the guitarist John Williams. I think Bach was the greatest musical genius ever.

Beethovens 5th, 6th,7th, and 9th symphonies are really good also his 14th piano sonata and Flight of the Bumblebee. Wagners Ride of the Valkyries.

Beethovens 9th symphony is my favorite.

im not really sure if this is like the official name of it but i like the swan lake waltz by tchaikovsky. tchaikovsky has a lot of good songs.

i prefer Mozart's pieces cos i'm a woodwind player. i like canon in d too, the brass quintet version
