does satnav/tom tom need to be updated for increased congestion charge zone?

i am just wondering, how to update my tom tom , to show the new congestion charge zone increased area in london??

i have been to the tom tom website, and there wasnt any updates for increased congestion charge zone. any ideas people?

my tom tom 910 has this already programed in so when congestion charge zone is in the route im taking it says 'toll charge'. if you have to update it and dont have tom tom plus on your tom tom go to the tom tom website and register your tom tom and from there you can download tom tom plus which is the one with traffic, speed camaras and toll charge updates on it as far as im aware. but dont get the john cleeves voice which they try and get you to download as it crashes you tom tom. my dad had this downloaded and in the end it killed his tom tom and had to get it replaced. good luck :-)

I think you can update on the tomtom website.

I know we tried to do our ones at work, and had to pay for an update, but not sure what they were updating. However, they then found the memory card that is in the Tomtom was not big enough to put the information on to it! So they got no further with it!

I am sure if you do a google search for TomTom, or look in the instruction manual, you should be able to find information about updates!
