EZ, Loose. Mingle with like-minded as yourself, with same interests. So, go places you enjoy and there will be peo. there for the same reason. Ask their opionion on things. Give yours. Always ask things about them and be attentive. Show genuine interest in others and they will appreciate it. Most don't. Eye contact ( in the West) is vital. Except for New Zealand, it is considered shifty or insecure to not do so. A warm smile goes a very long way to making friends. So does a sense of humor. Don't be on guard with yourself. This inhibits you & you could appear cold, uncaring or untrustworthy. Best advice? Be yourself. But get OUT of yourself.

Your username says a lot ...do I ( as a stranger) want that sort of a connection ...that being said...depends on the connection you seek...positive foundations -that last- are built on positive energy,,, self-less compromise and compassion. Shallow connections are built of a different energy....one that focuses on the self-and what the self wants..self-ish energy rarely lasts. To answer your question..what is your goal?
