obviously MARFICE is not a college football fan.
1) no go to guys??? gee lets see, how about...Gable, Moody, Turner, Hazelton, Davis ( a SR TE that has always been consistent)...not to mention the incredible talent coming!!
2) booty is a legit heisman candidate...
3) the defense is arguably the best defense USC has EVER had...returning 11regular players (guys who played often) not to mention 6 or 7 starters from last years D!!! Carrol stated its the fasted defense hes ever coached at USC...
we lost Smith and Jarrett...but we have Turner and Hazelton, both play big in practice and did fine when they got in the games. its hard to get playing time with Smith and Jarrett in front of you but now its their time to shine.
i dont see any reason why USC wont win the Pac-10, again...we will be in a BCS bowl and theres a great possibility that it will be the championship game!
i wouldnt be surprised the see USC vs FL for the national championship...both teams returned a lot of solid players and both team loaded up in the off season...that would be a great game!!

Pending a major catastrophic meltdown, USC should make it to another BCS game....hopefully the National Championship. Booty is back. They have three or four talented running backs led by CJ Gable and Emmanuel Moody. The receiving corps is depleted but Patrick Turner showed glimpes of greatness last season. The O-line is always up to par. Pete Carroll said this defense is the fastest he has seen. They shouldn't have any problems on that front. Like I said, pending a couple huge upsets from the top competitors (UCLA, Cal, and of course we can't forget Oregon State from last season), they should finish with at least ten wins.

They have TOP NOTCH talent at WR, so it really doesn't matter that they need to "start over" with new WRs like that one guy said. I don't think they're gonna lose any games at all, and I think they'll be playing in the National Championship, but I passionately hope that my Cal Bears whip them good.
And by the way, for all your morons who don't watch PAC10 games, the PAC10 is absolutely not "extremely weak." USC blew out your pride and joy, Michigan, in the Rose bowl, and my Cal Bears put the biggest whipping I've ever seen on Texas A&M at the Holiday Bowl. And they didn't do it by playing with "finesse" or however it is that you people think it is that Pac10 teams win games. The Trojans and Bears made the Wolverine and Aggie linemen look like little girls on both sides of the ball.

I think they will at least go to the National Championship. They return a QB who has a legitimate shot at the Heisman, and they pounded on a talent laden Michigan team in the Rose Bowl. They are playing in the extremely weak Pac-10, so they will probably sweep that, giving them a good shot at the National Championship.

I think that they are going to be a pretty solid good team this coming year. I think that they are going to win the PAC-10 Championship again this coming year.

They will probaly get to an average bowl game, because...
1.They have no go-to-guys anymore
2.Booty is over rated
3.The defense is not so great

They have to start all over with brand new wide receivers so it is a question mark.

If we can find out how much their boosters are paying their players this year I might be able to give you a proper evaluation.
