Are the new Gender biased Bills / Acts / Laws being passed in India Idiotic and needs to be changed?

Is Misguided Fanatic Feminism Harming our Indian Men, And the future of our country??

The disastrous results of badly formulated and gender biased law "Domestic violence against women" law - 2005, Sexual Harassment Bill and the Dowry Harassment Bill (498A) which grossly violates the liberty and dignity of an average man and his family members.

Does this not prove injustice and inequality - is this Democracy?

Should not the people disrecpecting the Indian Constitution, IPCs, Laws of our Country by misusing them, encouraging the same be lynched??

As an educated person, living in a high society, you can think like this but dear friend India is much bigger then the place where you & I live. We may not be requiring all these enactments as we know how to behave & treat our spouse keeping in mind their requirements, but this may not be the case in lager aspect of such a huge country with more then billion people living here, lager population living in a backward society, uneducated & poor. For these people the life of a married woman is tougher that we can even think about. Do you know that there are places in India where women are sold as slaves for few rupees only? So making anti dowry act, domestic violence provisions are must for the women living in that part of our country. The law enacted by the central government is for whole of India keeping in view the larger picture. Now as far as misusing these enactments are concerned I fully agree with you that they should not be done, but who does it & under whose guidance it is being done? Whenever there is a domestic dispute between the spouses the wife usually goes to her parents home complain against her husband or in laws, if the parents of wife are intelligent enough & if the husband & his parents all sit together solve the basic problem of the spouses things cool down & matrimonial life starts moving smoothly as before. But if any of these people become adamant & want to move the court for dissolution of marriage then comes the legal officers to guide them with the various matrimonial statues & their uses & misuses. Willingly or unwillingly the misuse of the various provisions now come to play & husband along with his parents & other relatives feel the heat of harassment that you have mentioned here. Gender based Bills/Acts are made to bring the concept of equality for the uneducated,unemployied, socially weak women who are suppressed in the society not for the purpose of providing tool of harassment to any well to do educated, working & socially well to do women.

Indian Constitution was originally written by the British. And we only copy pasted the same [even though there was no computer at that time - we excelled in C&P - no doubt we are excelling at it today !!!]

New Ambiguous Laws that can be interpreted in 2 or more ways, are just being added so that the Lawyers and Police do not go out of job and makes way for more avenues for greasing.

Thats the whole intention of new I personally feel.

To the extent of removing injustice and inequality and gender bias these Acts are required to be formulated and implemented since equality and justice is the essence of democracy. Any over-jealous implementation and subsequent persecution will be unconstitutional, unjust and undemocratic.

i'd change the regulation that criminals have more suitable rights than the victims..or so it style of feels..i have self assurance you gave up your rights for a good life once you probably did the crime..I hate that prisoners have a good life and each of the fundamentals of life in a penitentiary jointly with television,air con,warmth,good healthful food and so on. at the same time as the undesirable those who did no longer some thing incorrect have a frustrating time only having problem-free products...they get little help and artwork flat out for what they have.. that's one in all my puppy peeves for constructive!!! This regulation might want to get replaced..The criminals that are discovered responsible might want to be giving no longer some thing more suitable than a cellular and food and water and sufficient warmth to keep them alive,,,no longer some thing more suitable!!! No ask your self , it prices a lot to keep criminals in detention center..and we the taxpayers might want to pay for his or her residing. i have self assurance there will be alot a lot less crime...I mean the killers and toddler abusers and crimes like that.

Democracy is ultimate law by the majority. If the majority disagree with the laws of your country then your majority needs to speak up and change the laws.

As for the fairness of the laws in question, don't know enough to judge.

Well, as a guy who loves his women, women are precious commodities, and should be treated with utmost respect..

They give us kids(but who likes those?)) cook and clean for us, ((sometimes)) and look absolutely amazing in miniskirts and leather busteiers..

Women are totally mistreated these days, dude..

I actually agree with a lot of feminists still going- domestic violence needs to stop completely, and dowries? Get rid of em', man..

Women shouldn't be bought into weddings.. They should make their own choices.. A happy wife makes a happy man..
