Born and raised in Montreal and I can`t even think of living elsewhere. Life is good, very good !

I love life in Quebec. I`m half English, Half French, and I live in an area that is highly anglophone (English speaking) which is NOT near Montreal. Most people are friendly, and they have a better sense of fun than in Ontario--the joie de vivre.
Once I drove to Quebec City in a borrowed car. The car had Ontario plates on it, so everyone assumed I wasn`t a Quebecer. They always approached me with a smile and tried their best to address me in English, not realizing I`m bilingual. There are plenty of racists here, but racists are everywhere. My best friend emigrated here from Vietnam 2 years ago and has lived in both Ontario and Quebec. He prefers life in Quebec--and he doesn`t speak a word of French yet.

You might want to answer you question in French. There aren't too many English speaking people who live there except for City of Montreal. Then you will get a better answer.
