The term ghetto has been around for many years, It was used to described neighborhoods that were extremely cramped and held residents that were poor (mostly people from the same ethnicity or culture). Many immigrants that first came to the United States were crammed into ghetto's. But ghetto's existed in Europe as well (Jews in Nazi Germany for instance). But like I said before, the word "ghetto" is now being used a a slang word for people who are ignorant or display behaviors that are undesirable and unaccepted by main stream society in addition to describing a low class urban area.

I feel your grammar is "ghetto". I am assuming it is from a lack of education. Something many people from the "ghetto" are deprived of or just avoid it. First you guys took the N word from us and now you want to take Ghetto away from us ? What next "son", "man" etc.

Well being black is cool. Maybe black people don't think this is the case, but around the world the culture of Africans in the Americas has a huge cool factor (including in Africa).
When people who are not cool try to be cool it is very embarassing. Don't worry about it.
