If black women are at higher risk of AIDS/HIV than white women, why hasn't the risk increased . . .?

for white women? Since a whole lot more of white women are dating black men? Because these DL guys are having unprotected relations w/ other guys and going back to their wives/girlfriends.I'm not saying all black men are on the DL, other races are too. But according to DL King, a black DL person will get with a white woman because she will take his odd behavior for being a "black" thing, unlike black women who would noticed something is off & seek the truth.

That's silly. I think I'd know if my man had gay tendencies. I wouldn't pass it off as 'a black thing'. Black or white, if you like men, it's hard to hide. And on the subject of HIV/AIDS, this disease sees no color, nor does it care about your sexual orientation. It's spread by carelessness, and ignorance, period.

Um how about no!!! It's at a high risk because of homosexual (i'm not a homophobe) honestly it has nothing to do with color.I totally disagree with the "white women will take it as a 'black' thing" because I know plenty of white women that'll check a black men just like a black woman would

The risk of AIDS has increased for everyone because there are more interracial and bisexual relations. I honestly do not believe that the risk is higher for black women, because if that is true, then who are they getting it from and who are they giving it to? I have never bode well with statistics especially if they are racially biased, I go by what I see. As a black woman, I'd never date a bisexual man, I prefer interracial relationships, and I am a firm believer in celibacy.

First off, the statistics do not make sense, who are Black women getting it from? Black men, and who are Black men sleeping with, White women, so White women would have to be increasing too, and so would White men when their women cheat with Black men. If not getting it from Black men, then they would be getting it from White men, and since most White guys sleep with White women, then White women would be increasing too. Notice the percentage of White women is never released. Plus White people are unrealistic about AIDS and never get tested anyway, so it's an apples-oranges comparison. Some key players in our society (conservative Republicans) are getting a bit nervous at seeing all these White guys lust after Black women so they are doing anything they can to spread negative statistics in hopes to curve interracial coupling. They did this in the late 90's when Black men started winning with White women, only this time it was Black men. Then they did it to gays back in the early 90's when gays started to become mainstream business owners. These are all groups hated by Republicans.

Because the people who perform those statistics are probably racists? How can black women claim the bigger percentage of std rates among american women, when they are only a small percentage of the population? Something to think about.
Oh and all those men who pretend to be non-gay by acting 'downlow' are fooling no one but themselves, as well as putting themselves and their partners at the risk of contracting stds. If you are a guy who pokes other guys butts, then you are gay... and if you are a guy who lets other men poke your butt, sorry but you are also gay. One thing I should add is that a strand of HIV is ten times smaller than the pores in latex condoms. So wearing a condom is not protection against HIV/AIDS. And this lady who worked at a hospital in NC was telling me I would be surprised to know how many people came in there with AIDS. She didn't seem to believe that it was mostly blacks. From her experience, it is everywhere and in every race sufficiently.

So what you're basically saying then is that black women and black gay men all have HIV/AIDS, and that they are infecting white women. I've never heard of that before. How come gay men have HIV/AIDS to you? Why are you putting victims in categories? We are all human, so it doesn't matter.
