I love his song hurt and I want to know what are some of his other good songs. i have listened to alot of his stuff but nothing is very catchy to me. is there anything with the sort of style he used in hurt? this may be a really stupid question....i dunno haha

"Hurt" is tremendous, but remember he didn't write it.
I love "Folsom City Blues", and "I walk the Line". June Carter Cash wrote "Ring of Fire", about their affair, but Johnny does a great job on it.
On the American V album, "The 309" is great, and his cover of Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind" is amazing, likewise his cover of "Sprinsteen's Further On Up the Road", and Ian Tyson's "Four Strong Winds". "On the Evening Train" is pretty darn good too.

He has so many great ones, in such a variety of styles. Have you heard "I Still Miss Someone",
"Long Black Veil", "Jackson", The Man in Black", "Daddy Sang Bass", "Ring of Fire", so many great ones. If you haven't had a chance to watch the documentary on PBS, you should contact your local station and see if they can tell you when it will be on. It's terrific. By the way, if you haven't seen the movie yet, it's available to rent and is very good.

the one that i just heard recently that i like is 'Gods gonna cut you down' i also like 'a boy named sue', 'ring of fire' 'i walk the line.' those are my favorites, besides hurt.

...for one.... he DIDNT write hurt.
hurt is a cover he did of nine inch nails.
nine inch nails came out wiht it in 1994, where as cash in 2002.
if you are going to ask about songs by someone... make sure its actually an orig of theirs first before you claim it as 'theirs'
so i guess theres the 'style' for ya. a cover.
