This one I know for sure... (check the Lancelot/Galahad one...I think I may be wrong...so sorry if I am)

The Holy Grail came to symbolize the divine feminine. Mind you, this was written at a time when courtly love was just coming to th forefront of society and the church was still struggling with idea what place a woman should really have in society. The Authurian legends perpetuate this myth. That is why the texts and stories were frowned upon by some church officials.

The legend of king Arthur and the holy grail goes back a long way. There are welsh, scottish and irish versions of this story.

In fact the Arthurian legend combines many legends into one, but we should stick with the story of the magic cup (holy grail)

The classic story involves a disposed king (for Arthur it was a king losing his power) who must either find a magic cup or a magic princess.

The cup is a metaphor for a women. A women is a vessel to carry on a man's line. The modern Arthurian legend was written by the (at the time) women hating French.

So the magic cup gives immortality. In a world without women, the only way to continue is to live forever. In a world with women, it is only women who can really continue our line.

Other elements appear as well, such as the choice of cup. One will be the right choice, the other will kill you. This is metaphor for choosing the right woman.

The Holy Grail, a symbol of a cup used at the last supper some say, others say it was a cup used to catch the blood of jesus as he died on the cross, I say, it may have been the symbol of the woman of the bloodline of jesus, as there are those who say that jesus had a wife, who had escaped the holy land , I believe that Joseph of arimithea was the guardian of that bloodline, thats where the connection is with a new twist to the tale. Read the book Holy Blood Holy Grail, its quite interesting
