It is the last test of the quarter, not the semester. I know that the chance of me getting an A is not likely. More than likely I'll get a B, especially since I am studying the night before. I already plan to do my best and just give it my all--but is still this sense of nervousness. In the very, very back of my mind I want that A, but know that the chnaces of getting it all not that high because studying at the last minute. A "B" wouldn't not hurt me at all...

Nerves/anxieties are normal! But you are adding more pressure on yourself with expectation of your own performance on the test vs. accepting that you will do your best and the outcome will be what it will be.

Relax. Try to breathe. Don't freak out or stress too much, otherwise you won't sleep, won't retain information for your exam, and that will only make you do worse than you expect.

Practice meditating and relaying some of the study notes in your head like a mantra. Not only will this calm you, but you can do mental exercises to retain the info. to make sure you really do your ulitmate best.

Lastly, just do the very best you can. Getting a lesser grade is not the end of the world. Sure, you want to do well, but what matters most is how you apply the right answers in situations that matter most - like the career you are studying so well for, and the education you will have to carry with you, always.

Good luck to you!!! You'll do just fine!

Considering you are writing about the stress of your test tomorrow on Yahoo Answers, instead of actually studying for it, I can't help but to agree with you that you might not get that A. I used to stress all the time about my grades. In high school I took AP classes and did every extra credit assignment I could get my hands on. Until I got so stressed I finally realized that in the scheme of my life, whether I got that A or that B (or even that C) wouldn't make any difference. Many people get nervous before taking tests, so just try to take a step back from the situation, and realize, as you said, that a B won't hurt you. Quickly look-over the main things to be on the test tomorrow. Then, GO TO SLEEP. It is proven that if you read something right before you go to sleep, your mind will study it while you are dreaming! Plus, a good-night's sleep makes any mind a quicker one. Good night & good luck. :]

It's all right to feel nervous before a test, and this is common to almost everyone before doing a test, whether they care about the test or not. Thats how tests work. If you try hard, and study a bit, you will feel confident and less nervous, and even if you don't do well, it doesn't matter as you know you have tried. This sense of nervousness is nothing to worry about, it is natural, and it's a sense of mild anxiety that people feel before doing something akward, like a test, because we do not often do tests.

My own personal experience with studying late is that I may retain more for the test, but I lose the info soon after....so be careful of that, but just make yourself some flash cards, and go through them as often as you can. Works for me!
You'll do great.
