Well I went out to a movie date last night.. I knew this girl from email, she was a friend of a friend thru college, and we had been talking a lot through email and text messages, and instant messages. I never met her in person before. Well finally we went and saw a movie tonight, and there wasn't much said. We talked for a few minutes before and after the movie, but right after the movie she said, "Well I had a great time, real fun, I guess I'll talk to you later." And that was it, we both left. No hug or anything.

During the movie, we didn't hold hands or anything like that either. She put a few pieces of gum in her mouth but that could mean nothing.

Anyway, what do I do now? What does it mean? Not interested? Taking it slow?

Any ideas

Going to a Movie is the worse choice for a first date regardless if you had been chatting/E-mailing. My guess is it was your idea and she went along?

Rule #1 is you should always want to take a gal to Dinner or Lunch and have good conversation. This is when a woman gets to size you up, and your mannerisms, how you talk and look at her, and what you talk about is what gives her a clue as to who and what you are about and if she feels you are worth more dates.

She probably was telling herself at the theater, "If I wanted to sit and watch a movie, I could have stayed home and put in a DVD".

You never mentioned if YOU liked her. If you have a pair,....stand up and be a man. A Woman likes a man to take the lead most the time, and it seems like you are waiting for her to direct the friendship or whatever.

If you do like her,........call her up or E-mail her and tell her you made a huge mistake and would like to take her out to Dinner.

Clue #1, she was BORED! And, well,.......I guess this is because you chose to sit in a darkened room with others while watching others on a screen do all the talking.

Its so easy to be open and free through text, IMs and emails. When it comes to face to face it become ackward..especially the first few times. I would go on another date or two. If its still like this first date then I would give up and keep her as a friend. Good luck!!

Movies aren't so good for a first date. Go somewhere you can talk to her. If you have a good conversation that time then you're in business. If not then move on to the next one.

Sounds like you guys were better at talking to each other through messaging. If you want to go for it, ask her out again. If not, don't. Make sure she wants the same thing, though.

Mental attraction and physical attraction are so very different. Both are required for a relationship. It doesn't sound like that was there... sorry. I would move on.

don't do anything and see if she contacts you. sometimes it is easier to talk on here than in person. good luck.
