Is there any other way to make the screen size smaller on a laptop?

I know you cant really change the resolution much, is there either a way around it or another direction

Actually you can change resolution quite a lot, but it depends on what is your max resolution settings on your laptop. If its 1200 X 800, then ur not in luck.
