I was lying down at the beach and was watching the sky, i saw a star moving i kept on watching it for a long distance and couldn't follow it what is it ?
i don't think they are meteoroids as they fall from sky and get burnt off in s short period.

Airplane most likely, or possibly the international space station.

What you have probably have seen is called a falling star or shooting star but it is not a star it is meteors burning up as they enter earths atmosphere, the atmosphere protects the earth being thicker than the moons atmosphere which is thin and probably why the moon is full of craters. If meteor gets trough earth's atmosphere it is then called a meteorite.

If there were no blinking lights associated with this object, it was undoubtedly an artificial satellite in orbit around Earth.

there is an easy way to tell...

go to the same spot today, at the same time and watch..

if you see it again, at the same time, its a satellite..

there is one i can see here, (india, karnataka, Manipal) at 7.40 everyday...
