The plan B will stop the fertalization from happening within the First 72hours, it is effective, but you might wanan start using protection lol!! HEHE I need to eat my own words lol.
But Plan B will stop the fertization of the egg, I took it on the 2nd day and Ended up having a pretty bad period the next time around it was late, heavy and painful.........and then i did it again lol!!

85% effective. However it doesn't prevent a pregnancy. It prevents implantation of an already fertilized egg by expelling the lining of the uterus as in a mini period. BTW if the fertilized egg hasn't gotten anywhere near the uterus when you take plan b...it CAN implant after the period and you will STILL be pregnant. Obviously mommy2b doesn't know much about plan b...it doesn't stop fertilization of an egg. Once the sperm has penetrated the egg the egg has been fertilzied. Plan b does NOT prevent fertilzaiton nor does it prevent ovulation.

take it before 72 hours it is more effective the sooner you take it after unprotected sex and make sure you take both pills as instructed

If you know what your highest ovulation day is, it's sounds as though you were trying to get pregnant and now covering your end.
