What's a god name for one? I was thinking of calling mine,
Corleone as it would come from a good Italian family.

Yeah if its italian, a weekly treat of olive oil will give it a nice shiny coat. Pasta is also good but not too often as it will get fat. Make sure it always has a fresh water supply and a fresh mix of root vegetables (still covered in dirt) each day. They need moderate exercise so take it outside every so often, but not too the lake as they dont make very good swimmers and will just fall to the bottom!
Be wary when introducing a new pet rock to the family, as they are very terrotorial.
Good luck with your new pet!

Choosing the correct pet rock depends entirely on your preferences. Personally I like the semi-precious kinds, Tiger eye, Jade and Serpentine. Some people prefer the precious varieties like Rubies, Emeralds or Diamonds. Food? They thrive on love and enjoy being displayed in prominent places.

I had a mutt and it just ate whatever was in the flowerpot it lived in. Very quiet little guy, not demanding, healthy. I really liked him. But, alas, after a few years he disappeared--I figured he either ran away with the Rolling Stones (who, incidentally, had passed through town around that time) or mom used him as part of her Japanese rock garden along the driveway.

I love Tiger's Eyes, you could name him Rajah...

I also like amethysts.... you could name him the godfather

I feed mines house dust, but they eat very little. Many times I realize I overfeed them and they are covered in dust and I need to bathe them. Soapy water makes a great shampoo for pet rocks.

The best pet rocks are teenagers. You can find them in a local highschool and they eat everything in sight.

well if its italian, feed it pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, pasta of any kind. Olive oil for a special treat, maybe once a week.
Tiramisu for dessert of course.
