Join the club. My bub is due on the 26th of June and apparently a girl, she moves like crazy. According to some people she is slowly moving into position to come out. I also can't sleep at night because of it. I am also paranoid that i am crushing her when I lie on my side and I feel her squirm on that side. Even though the doctor said she is fine and not getting squished I still think otherwise. I love the moving, it lets me know she is there but sometimes I just want to sleep.

Depends how far along you are. I had little amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios) with my pregnancy, and due to that, whenever the baby moved it was VERY painful. I couldnt sleep, couldnt have clothes or anything touching my belly. If you're near the end of pregnancy, it is probably normal. Ask your Dr to ease your mind.

When i was carrying my son he was a jumping bean. Towards the end of my pregnancy his movements became very painful and i dreaded his kicks as i kept thinking he was gonna bust my stomach open! But be reassured that the movements signify that he/she is happy and healthy. You'd worry if they didn't move!

try a warm towell on your belly. when i was preggers and my baby was really active when i needed to get rest, i would get a warm wet towell and put it across my belly when i was on my side. this not only settled the baby down but it also made my itchy skin feel better. good luck!!
