Separate but equal is still a violation of human rights as ruled by many historical court cases (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separate_but_equal) Making all homosexuals wear blue hats would be the equivalent to the star shaped badges that the nazis forced Jews to wear. Even though I am not a homosexual, I am strong believer in defending all forms of human rights and preserving our nations constitutional integrity. As alien as homosexuality may be to much of mainstreamed culture, they don't pose any social threat to our society and are human beings like everyone else, such a law would be prejudicial and unnecessary. Don't forget that providing homosexuals with those blue hats by our government would waist our tax money. Our government has no room for clowns with heads up their ****ss that think they are so-called "politicians". If this is true, this is the exact reason why more Americans need to vote. If you think predjudice is part of patriatism, then you are a patriate to the wrong f*cking country.

Yes there is, it's called discrimination. Segregation of the races was proven the same way, that is what the abolishment of the seperate but equal act got rid of. It was called Brown v. The Board of Education. Why the hating on those with other liking? Can't we all grow up and just be civil? I'm straight just so you know but see nothing wrong with gay people.
*I did NOT mean that star, my mouse stuck trying to get to viewing the star it had. I think it's stupid and anyone who asks "is this a real law?" should know better.

sounds dumb and I like blue so its not fair that my favourite colour should be used. What happens if I find a sexy guy with a blue hat that makes him look really really hot, I won't be able to date him, because he will have a blue hat on meaning he will be gay and thus not interested in me!
I have nothing against homosexuals, I only have a problem with the fact that so many of them are good looking and unavailable to me. Sometimes I want a guy to be more than just a really great friend.
So will this mean police will have to change their hats? and some doctors, and some schools, and Navy or air force...ok which politician in which country had to waste their time thinking of this dumb law idea?
The other obvious problem is the people who won't be able to help themselves and just have to be mean to someone because of who they prefer to date...Really stupid idea! That and what if they want to wear a colour which goes better with their outfit? Blue doesn't go with everything you know!

That's asking for trouble. There will be more crimes against them because they are easier to find for the Haters out there.
And some people feel awkward & may not want to be publically displayed.
Maybe we should all wear labels to say if we are single or not?? j/k
Being labeled is already forming a seperation between the others who are not alike.

Why bother to promote new way to discriminate??
How can you be separated & still be equal??
This is opening up a new controversial debate. And it will be very harmful... more violence, more hate crimes, more tax payer's money to clean up these new crimes & protests.
So what color hat stands for ignorant?

Yea, I think the jews liked an idea which was simular. You know, that crazy little Nazi Hitler guy who made them were the Star of David. Yup, I think the gay population likes that idea about as much as the jewish population did. But hey, just cause it didn't work out the first time....
What a dumb statement.

I'm not sure I see the point. It sounds to me like whoever wants this to be a law, wants to make sure we can tell who is gay, and who isn't. Whats the purpose?
Go here to find out about gay issues.

Personally, I am a Christian and I believe that the gay lifestyle is just that, a lifestyle. It is a choice. They were not born that way.

Does that mean that as a straight woman, I can't wear my favorite blue hat any longer? That is too much to ask! That's discriminatory!
