CUBS!

A-Rod didnt mention the teams while talking to reporters, but he said he already had offers from 6 teams. Those teams are mostly the Cubs, Mariners, Royals and maybe even back to the Rangers. My thinking of this is that these teams will need a good slugger, and third baseman with experiance to cover the hot base. But unless if A-rod does good in the season and they win the world series, or if he gets the mvp, hes gone.

Jake P, learn your baseball facts. Those teams you named off are not realistic. Whoever wants A-Rod is going to have to be a team with a lot of money that can afford him, and desperately needs a 3B or maybe a SS.

If A-Rod goes anywhere, it's Cubs because Lou Piniella (Spelling) is there, maybe Boston, because it would be a good rivalry thing, and Boston could use a player like A-Rod, and there could be a 1% possibility he could end up in Detroit going back to his original SS position, taking over for Guillen, who may be a free agent after this year.

He can't go to all of them. I am hoping for the Angels but I don't know if they can shell out A-Rod dough after breaking the piggy on that schlepp-rock Matthews.. Although the Angels and Giants can offer something to him, a chance to play SS again...
Houston can too, but I think he may want to avoid Texas teams.

I think it's clear that he wants to be re-united with Lou Piniella, so he's going to the Cubs. All he talks about is how Piniella was like a second father to him, how he had such an influence on his career, etc. I would say the Cubs.

I'm a Yankee fan, but it might be better if A-Rod moved on, went back to short, and became the player he used to be.

Mariners

As its been stated before, the chicago cubs. Arod loves pinella, and obviously he should. Starting his young career in seattle with pinella at the helm. Yankee fans are harsh. It seems everything that goes wrong is arod's fault. Plus, the cubs will spend all they need to get the right pieces. Imagine derrek lee, aramis ramirez, michael barrett, alfonso soriano, and arod...that lineup would be sickening.
