What to look for
Changes in color(dull pale)
Not eating
Sluggishness
Remaining in it's shell

If not then your turtle should be just fine.
My friend spends so much time with his turtles that he's virtually beaten this info into my head whenever I "sit" for him while he's out of town.

A stressed turtle is one that has been handled a lot, is living in dirty conditions, is not being fed enough, is being fed too much, etc. Turtles show stress only when they're SUPER stressed. Its usually in not eating, swimming erratically, getting sick, etc.

Most turtles will be fine and healthy and happy if you feed them, dont pick them up, and keep their water clean and clear. Happy turtles will do turtle things. Also, they'll be really happy every morning when you put a tiny goldfish in there for them to eat ^.^ My RES always gets happy when I put his goldfish in there. I have many stories about that, but I wont bore you.

Hope I helped you understand the term 'stressed turtle'.
