My husband and I want to get my step daughter a phone that she can use to call us anytime she wants. Her Mom wont let her call us from her cell phone and they dont have a land line. We want to make sure that we can program what numbers can be called out and which numbers are allowed to be received. We dont want her to run up the minutes or for her mother to call out on it. Verizon used to have the Migo which would have been perfect, but its discontinued. Any suggestions?

It allows you to program numbers and to limit times for when she can use the phone ... it's even got gps locating and family alerts. It's also got free mobile to mobile so that it won't use her minutes when she's calling the two of you. It sounds like a great deal!

I begged my parents for a phone they finally got me one. I think this work with most phones, my brand is Sprint.
go to SETTINGS.
look for SECURITY.
press in the code you have set for your phone.
press OTHERS.
press LIMIT USE.
press OUTGOING CALLS.
check one:
Allow All
Phone Book Only
Special #s Only
My parents check "Phone Book Only" so, only the people who were in my phone book, were the people I could call.
I am not sure if this will help you, because this is my cell phone.
