I know that was the reason for Israel to bomb and strike them in Lebanon last summer. But wasnt part of the deal to end the war for Hezbollah to release the soldiers???
Its been about 9 months and they still haven't released them.

You are right, Hezbollah has never released those soldiers.
The Israelis should have been left alone to continue their strikes against Hezbollah. But the U.N. ( worthless ) decided to broker a "cease-fire", and called on Hezbollah to release all captured prisoners. They then sent a scanty force to maintain "security" between Lebanon and Israel, but no effort was even made to get the Israeli soldiers released. One cannot expect a Muslim to keep their word. And the U.N, our paper tiger, never pursued getting those men free. I pray for all of their safe return, but doubt they will get home to Israel, unfortunately.

Oh,yes...but why worry since Israel doesn't...
Well Israel said this was the reason,but it seems that this war was planned 4 months before the soldiers were captured...
After the war ended Israel said that there are going to be negotiations,supervised by the UN...but nothing happened...
Well it's not the first time Israel simply leaves soldiers behind...See Ron Arad's case...
