my buddy won some tickets to a rave and hes going alone, just wondering if hes going to have any fun, hes like techno and all that , i know hes not into drugs also hes black. (hes my best friend so no racist intended) would he actually have fun, im thinking of purchasing a ticket to go with him to keep him company, cause i think hes depressed right now or something.
But if he went alone would he have fun at a rave.

As someone who lived the Rave life for a long time, I think he shouldn't go by himself. Not only will he be bored because he doesn't have anyone around to go nutty with but he could also possibly put himself in danger by exposing the fact the he's alone. Rave are a great thing but they're even better when you have your best buds with you. Trust me, he would be grateful that you gave him company.

Not really since a lot of people there are either selling or doing drugs (NOT EVERYONE) but a large amount. Also, he could possibly get date raped/slipped a pill by another guy or by someone who is racist and beat up (A lot of the people I have ran into at raves are somewhat racist and didn't like the fact that I wasn't techno and I had a black gf)

Depends on where you are some rave scenes like the southeastern US are full of happy ravers it's easy to make friends.
Go with him you'll both have fun. I went to a rave in Nashville with a girlfriend of another race and no one seemed to care at all.
