Some people have not had life the way they think it should be and live with a bitterness in everything they do. Sometimes it is because of a chemical unbalance but often it is just an attitude they accepted as protection against their own hurt feelings. They tend to see only their own side of situations and don't care what those around them are feeling or thinking. It takes a person full of love and happiness to sometimes brighten their life and help them see beyond their own self centered out look. It is every ones own choice of how they look at people and circumstances maybe they just need to be taught a better way.

I can't speak for anyone else.
But for me, the three most important things in life are being honest about what I know about real space-time and what I don't know; the right to tries at categorizing internal, dynamic and prioritized definitions of things from others, so I know whre they're coming from and a government that protects my rights to try to make a profit out of my time, money, hard work, honesty, talent, etc. so that I can earn enough in a just marketplace of jobs--enough to live on and do the things I want to do so I'll be happy.
I have only one of those things even though I've been as honest as anyone on Earth. I haven't had the others for forty years. That would make any sane man bitter.
Injustice is the hallmark of a failed govenment of pseudo-Christian public-interest spouting elected dictators. Who needs that? That's why people are bitter. They've lost their rights, and they've been lied to by those they trusted with powers to protect them, who've misused them instead.
