It depends what kind of facial clenser you use. I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Face Wash, and it cleans off all the dirt and oil on your face, but then your face is left dry. Then I tried Shesheido's Pure Face Wash and my face was left more smoother and perfectly moistured, because it didn't take off all the oil. The more the face wash clenses off, the more oilier your face will get because your face if trying to create the natural balance of oils on your face. So don't use such a harsh face wash and you'll be fine. Use one that takes off just enough oil so your face doesn't look too shiney, and doesn't deplete your face of natural oils. I recommend Sheshedo, it's delicate on the soft facial skin, while Neutrogena seems to strip the oils from my face. Good Luck! :)

nope it doesn't. washing your face more ( 3 or more times a day) isnt good for your skin. if your face is oily, try using a product that helps control oil. your skin is probably naturally oily, but thats ok. dont worry about your face wash. use it once in the morning, once at night thats all you need, it doesnt make it oilier.

not always, but often when you wash your face alot, it removes all the natural oils drying out your skin and your face produces much much more oil trying to compensate for the loss. this makes it oilier inbetween washes. this also happens with your hair.

I even have oily pores and skin too on my t-zone, and the ideal element that facilitates my pores and skin is purely via washing it in undeniable water, two times an afternoon. Use heat water to bathe and then a splash of chilly water to close the pores. It does not thoroughly bypass by using fact the face clearly produces oils and exceptionally by using fact of our female hormones, it fairly is extra desirable worse for women. I do use a loreal face wash to eliminate my makeup as quickly as an afternoon, yet purely use mushy products for the face purely. i could stay away from scrubs as this would worsen your pores and skin much extra, exceptionally on your youthful pores and skin. different advice: do no longer %. your pimples or touch your face too lots as this too would reason oiliness. As you grow previous, you will probable discover that your pores and skin settles down. sturdy success and that i desire this facilitates :) Becca

I've read that washing the face too often can strip your face of the natural oils it needs to moisturize and also that yes ironically it can create more oil.

No it is supposed to do the opposite....maybe you can get a face wash that is less mosturizing and one that is just for normal skin.
