I am over one month late and have had multiple negative pregnancy tests. I have really crappy health insurance through the university and the doctor that I saw (who would only perform a urine test), told me to wait it out and test in another week or two weeks. However, if I am actually pregnant I really do want to know as soon as possible.
Should I go back to the crappy doctor with my crappy insurance and demand a blood test or an internal exam? Which would be more absolutely conclusive? I need to know what is going on.

Tina - Thanks for the reply but I can ASSURE you that I am not late because I am wishing to be pregnant. I've never been really regular and so being a week late is not unusual. However, when I eclipsed that week and the next and the one after that, I did begin to get worried at that point. I wasn't stressed prior to being two/three weeks late and now I am stressed that I am pregnant and my body is somehow hiding it from me. The only other "symptoms" that I have been having are some extreme heartburn (which leads to nausea - though I haven't thrown up yet), some changes in my eating habits, and frequent trips to the restroom.
Other than that my breasts feel fine and I haven't been feeling very tired. On the opposite, I have had no premenstrual signals that typically occur - cramps, mood swings, oilier skin for a few days, etc.
