what does it feel like what will the car do?
and how long do rear ends last? I drive a 1996 mustang GT

Rear Ends usually will outlast the car itself.It is wise though to have the differential oil changed as suggested by the drivers' manual.Most times, it is wheel bearings and or seals that go bad.Wheel bearings will make a distinctive noise at any speed,the bearing seals will leak when bad and you can just look behind the backplate by the axle to see this.Sometimes wetness there can be caused by a leaking wheel cylinder and you will notice this by a low brake pedal and fluid loss at the master cylinder.

when you get a ticket for exposure. Mine has lasted over 50 years so far. It feels a little too cold.
