Yes, this gyno my regular doc send me to, I hated him! he had the WORST beside manners whatsoever. Didn't knock before coming into the room, and never said a word during the procedure, then when I asked a question, he told me to ask the nurse! I cursed my doc for recommending him, never went back!

Yep... I was pregnant... I was having stomache pains, and cramping. The doctor on call tried to perscribe me antibiotics... with no tests (antibiotics aren't good for your baby when you're pregnant!). He said I probably had a bladder, or kidney infection! So........ I went to the emergency room, and after getting checked over, and tested... (peed in a cup), the doc there told me I just had a touch of the flu & I'd be fine... go home & get some rest!

Dr. # 2... I was having cramps & lower abdominal pain. He told me I had bladder spasms... BLADDER SPASMS? What in the hell is that, other than what is on a new pamphlet they had sitting on tables in the waiting room? I told him I actually thought I had a bladder infection. I said, "Okay, perscribe me the meds for the bladder spasms, and an antibiotic for the infection. I'll take the antibiotics first, and if that fixes the problem, I won't need your bladder spasm medication, and I'll never come back to you!" He did it, and guess what? I was right!

Here's just one more. My daughter has very large tonsils. After the first two times I was concerned about them, I realized they are like that all the time, and was told there was nothing wrong. So, why is it that every dang time I take her to the doctor, they want to test her for strep throat? I keep telling them she doesn't have strep throat! She has big tonsils, and that's it! I had strep throat every darn year for 5 years straight! I ought to know what strep throat looks like when you look at it!!! It actually does look like stripes down the back of your throat!!! They do the test anyway, and it always comes back negative for strep! Why don't they listen, or write their own notes so they don't have to repeat that stupid test every time I take her there?

How about all those Docs, nurses, and lab technitions who can't seem to figure out how to draw blood the way they are supposed to? Have you ever had one DIG for a vein, and leave you with a giant bruise? GRRRRRR! Why can't they just figue it all out?

Yes!!I tried to tell this doctor for a year that my leg hurts and they would say well its caused from an old injury you'll be fine. The pain was unbarable and I ended up loosing my job because of it.I went to a different doctor and they sent me to a specialist.Sure enough I had an abnormality in my knee that was causing all the trouble.Unfortunately a baby lost his life because of this doctor. The baby had a heart condition and any student in their first year of medical school could have found it and corrected it.That doctor was a quack!!!

Yes. I went to a doctor 3 times complaining of stomach pains, fatigue, dry mouth. Each time he said he thought I was fine. He kept asking me if I was depressed and wanted to put me on antidepressants. I changed doctors. The new one ordered the appropriate tests. I was diabetic and had gallstones and had to have my gallbladder removed. I'm just sorry I waited so long before changing doctors.

In 1996 I had a dislocated shoulder, and after I got it set the lymph nodes under my arm got infected because I had to keep it stationary in a sling for so long. So I go to this doctor and say "I need some antibiotics because the lymph nodes under my arm are infected because it's been stationary for so long."

Right.

So an hour and a half later, after having a complete physical AND x-rays, this dingo turns to me and says, "you need some antibiotics because the lymph nodes under your arm are infected."

I thought I was gonna kill the guy.

Next time I just forged my own prescription. Not kidding.

I went to the Dr. a couple months ago, actually it was an ER. I walked in, told the Dr that I couldn't close my hand to make a fist, and my pinky was grossly swollen. This idiot took a paperclip down the palm of my hand and told me I had bumped my ELBOW!! Didn't do x-rays and told me my finger wasn't swollen (I said "your right, when I gain weight, I gain it in my pinky") That was a Friday morning. On Monday morning, I went to my reg. Dr. He was amazed that I hadn't had an x-ray so he did one himself. Turns out I had 2 broken bones in my hand!! I was pissed!!

I was suppose to have an appendectomy, not only did he take my appendix but one of my ovaries to. My husband went to his doctor for a year cause he had a sore throat. The doctor treated him for everything but cancer. He had throat cancer, and lost his voice box, lymph nodes and an artery.
