like why didnt arnold schwarzzenneger and sly stallone ever make a movie together or van damme and steven seagul for that matter i know those guys are washed up but even now it seems like the action genre never gets two big headline actors to come out in the same flick....i mean it works in other movies like oceans 11 and other movies but i doubt vin diesel will ever make an action movie with the rock, maybe because theres a struggle with whos the bad guy and who gets top billing i guess...

1. There are certain leading types that need to be the "star" of the show.
2. The big leading man role usually gets a salary of about half the productions budget. If they had to pay for two of them, there would be no money left to make the movie with!

You need two different types of characters.
A funny one and then the hardcore kick a** guy! Or other types of characters.
There are action movies where there a big names together on screen. Blade, that wesley snipes ryan reynolds etc, but ryan plays the funny type blade the serious mean dude.
You need variety, and i doubt arnie and sly would fit on the screen together. AND could you imagine that much testosterone in one room???

that would actually be really cool! i would love to see a big name cast for an action caper. for example:
1. Bruce willis and Mel Gibson
2. WIll Smith and Milla Jovovich
3. Harrison Ford and Will Smith
Those are just a few that i would like to see.
Ps: i havent included Tom Cruise, cos he would make filming tricky cos of his height (or lack of it) and his enormous ego.

because they all use the same stunt double and it wouldn't be very cool to watch him fight himself ; ) lol
