..because he didn't like him hitting his mom. Would you do that too and do u think it's right?? How can anyone with a conscience and a sober mind do such kind of a thing?? I would think that one can only do such things if one is temporarily insane... What do you think and do you think so too??

I don't think it is justified because violence or hurting another person is NEVER right or justified, period.

I would believe that seeing your mom getting physically abused would be traumatizing to any kid. However, I do not condone what he did.
What he should have done was to report it to the authority. I believe that for him to do that, he had already been traumatized enough and that he was acting in the defense of his mom. However, like I said, he should have reported it, instead of taking the matter in his own hand.
