I think any of the name brand bar soaps are evil corporate soaps. You should find someone in your area or on line who makes handcrafted soap at home, buy some & be amazed at the difference. Evil corporate soap takes out all of the good stuff.....like glycerine....& replaces it with detergents that aren't very skin friendly. They take out the glycerine & sell it because it is valuable in its own right.

I like a good "French hard milled" soap. We used to buy Sweetheart soap, but more recently we bought some soap in a supermarket in Paris.
I really do not like soaps that are prone to disolve quickly in the shower. My wife likes « Dove » soap, but I find that it is too "soft", mixes with shower spray, and is not available for washing.
For washing hands, we generally use "Softsoap" in a pump container.

Dove!! Smells nice, rinses well and non-drying.
Others have left me smelling less than fresh and feeling almost sticky or dried out. I always go back to Dove.
