How many wood roaches do I need?

It's hard to say unless you tell us what kind of animal you are feeding them to. plus I'm not sure exactly what a wood roach is and how fast they breed.

I breed lobster roaches for my Bearded dragon and I started off with 500. My bearded dragon is only a baby and eats about 20 a day. I waited until I had close to 1000 before I started feeding them regularly.
