I am a 26 yrs old female. From the age of approx. 4 to age 10 approx. I engaged in various sexual acts with boys my age and older. This did include some intercourse that I viividly remember. Since that time I have never had sex, but I was just wondering does what happened mean I am not a virgin or ??? I have no idea what to think. Also is this type of sexual activity or "play" normal among that age group? I am really sorry if I sound dense or dumb but this is a serious question.

First of all, that type of sexual activity isn't "normal" because realistically, children that age wouldn't normally know how to go about doing it. You were obviously molested for a number of years and since you didn't know it was wrong, you didn't say anything, otherwise someone would have been in big trouble. The fact that you've never had sex your whole adult life suggests that the molestation may have distorted your views on sex. If you've had intercourse, whether it was consensual between adults, or because you were molested as a child, it is still intercourse and that would certainly count as no longer being a virgin.
I would bring to someone's attention what went on when you were a child. Whoever did it to you learned it from somewhere and it you may prevent it from happening to someone else by confronting these people or alerting the authorities.

From a clinical view if your hymen has been broken, you are not a virgin. I would like to expand this view to include any sexual activity. I suppose people are trying to narrow the definition of what constitutes a virgin. Thus, it allow them to perform sexual acts and still claim to be a virgin. I suppose we need to thank Bill and Hilary Clinton to define a oral sex as not being sex. In your case, I would say you are a "Born Again Virgin" by being celibate. It is the next best thing to being a virgin.

When you have intercourse you lose your virginity & NO!!!!! this type of activity is NOT normal play. Intercourse is NOT something that is learned that early unless you were exposed to it. If you were exposed to it at that age then someone should be arrested!!!!!!!!!

When you let the first boy penetrate you, then you lost your virginity. After letting several boys have sex with you, you have long since lost your virginity, and you can't ever get it back...so to answer your question,....no, you are not a virgin.
