A friend of mine does that. Fixes her hair, dresses in matching outfits and shoes. Doesn't showering defeat the purpose? She's gonna get all stinky anyways...

I always do only b/c a shower wakes me up and gets me motivated to actually work out... . . as far as hair and make-up. . .not a chance in hel* I'm doing either before I go. When I would sweat my make-up would be running into my eyes. . .that'd be real graceful. LOL

To walk in, turn heads and then it shows more when yu have arrived all cleaned up and then you can coount the beads of sweat....i hate gyms....i prefer having equipment in my own home thanks....right by the television...i dont want to be around sweaty people.....that is what summer is for. I don't network in the way of meeting people at the gym as many do. i have other things to do.....so i rough it w8h a ponytail..use my own shower and quite frankly, the best exercise i get is walking 2 to 5 miles a day. Your point is well taken.

maybe to not have the "stinky sweat." i found that if u take a shower before the gym, you'll sweat, but it won't smell stinky. but then again, it is kinda pointless to do that, because once u get on a machine after someone has used it, you may get their stinky sweat on you if u don't wipe the machine off all the way.
