You will have to consult your doctor as to what drugs you can't have during pregnancy, I had to discontinue my asthma meds during my pregnancy. There is no "top reason" for miscarriages...they just happen. That is why they are called spontaneous termination of pregnancy. The cost of birth control varies depending on where you get it and in what form. Most forms of birth control you have to have a prescription for, The morning after pill (which isn't really birth control) you can get over the counter IF you are 18 years or older. The morning after pill is a period in pill form. It forces you to have a period which will "expell" a fertilized egg from your uterus if you had unprotected sex and an egg was fertilized...it is only about 85% effective when used properly. Condoms of course you can get over the counter, as well as some low effective spermacides but anything else the pill, the patch, the ring, a diaphram, iud you have to go to your doctor for. As far as exercises, you can pretty much do the same ones you were doing before you got pregnant, same with foods...however you need to consult your doctor about them first.

Well, I can help you on some of this. But TALK TO A DOCTOR in person for more information on medications; I'm not an expert in this. There are many you shouldn't take.

You shouldn't take ibuprofen because there is some link between taking it in the last trimester and heart problems in the child - it can increase the risk of the problem you've probably heard called 'hole in the heart'.

Aspirin is bad to take. Children shouldn't take it, as it increases the risk of a rare complication of colds and flu. If you're carrying a child you shouldn't take it, I think, for the same reason.

Many pregnancies end in miscarriage before the woman even knows she's pregnant. It is thought that most of these are due to genetic problems. However, that is impossible to tell, as the majority of these are never known, let alone tested.

Cost of birth control varies depending on what you use, and where you are. The most effective is free - if you don't have sex, you won't get pregnant. Condoms aren't very expensive. If you have health insurance, you MIGHT be covered for the birth control pill. If not, I think it's roughly $20 a month? Been a long time since I paid for them. Your doctor might be able to give you a few months of 'samples'. Other options are the sponge (I think it's still available), a cervical cap, a diaphragm, an IUD. I have no idea how expensive they are.

To get birth control pills, you do need to see your doctor. You will probably need to have a pap test.

Exercises: well, they tell you to not exercise to a point where your body temperature rises. If you're not currently exercising, talk with your doctor before taking up an exercise program. If you are exercising regularly, then there's no need to stop -- I kept rock climbing to 8-ish months, and biking until my bike got stolen at 6-ish months.

Food: They'll tell you all kinds of things. Any cheese (soft or not) made from pasteurized milk (sold in stores in Canada or the US) is OKAY. If it's imported or home made, avoid it. Avoid sushi or other raw meats. No alcohol! No drugs. If you can, no smoking.

If you're pregnant, head to your doctor and ask all these questions. If you've got a friend who is pregnant and you're looking to advise her, go talk to her, take her to a doctor.

Thats a lot of questions! And Im very excited your asking them. Thats great :-) Lets see......first of all, there are a lot, and I mean a lot of no no medications. so here is a website, that lists medicines you CAN take. You just enter what you want to know is safe, and it will tell you. http://safefetus.com/
IBprofin is bad, because it causes the blood to thin which reduces the blood supply to the fetus. Tylenol, and Tylenol pm if your having trouble sleeping, are both very safe.
Okay now second, the main reason for a miscarriage is what is called a natural abortion. This is where there is actually something wrong physically with the baby, therefor it doesnt develope correctly and is lost. (Like physical deformaties, or mental conditions) here is a website on miscarriages http://www.miscarriageclinic.co.uk/causes.html
Now for birth control, it depends. If you want condoms or spermicide, you can buy them at a drug store. Condoms are around 3-4 dollars a box, and the spermicide depends on what kind you get. Now if you want the pill, patch, or something like that, yes you have to go to your doctor. And the cost depends on your insurance, if you have any. As far as exercising and eating, you should never diet while you are pregnant. It is healthy to watch your weight though. I dont think there is really a limit to what exercise you can and cant do, but you have to becareful not to overdo it or strain yourself as you get further along. Here is a website on good exercises to do while your pregnant. http://www.kidshealth.org/parent/nutrition_fit/fitness/exercising_pregnancy.html you can eat about anything really. You just want to watch for the spicy stuff that can cause aweful heartburn, and you dont want to over eat junk food and sweets. Try to eat healthy and drink lots of water! I hope ive helped, im not sure if your pregnant, but congratulations if you are, and feel free to keep in touch!

I'm 6 months pregnant and I have found reading the back of the box and asking the pharmacists is safest. It most cases it will state if the product is safe if pregnant or when trying to get pregnant. Foods, well foods there is so much. Seafood, sushi, raw foods, some teas, vitamins, and so on, I got a list from my doctor and I am sure you can find some list online. Also something to avoid is some massage oils. Which you can find the safe and unsafe ones online. There are so many excersises that you shouldn't do while pregs, if you attend an ante natal class or birthing class they will most definetly cover all this. at www.babyfit.com you can build a free diet plan while pregnant which is safe. If you want me to answer more please ask me!

Im confused are you pregant or not? but anyways to anwern your questions, when you go to the doctor for the frist time they will give you a list of meds. that you can take and whats not safe to take. and misscarriges they happen for many reasons, some could be caused of stress, or because the woman cant carry it. and birth control you can go to the local health deptment and get it. it doesnt cost anything but yeah u have to see a doctor before they will give it to you. as far as the food goes they will give you a paper on that also..

Society has obviously modified due to the fact I used to be that younger! I used to be such as you, wasn't even allowed to have a boyfriend at 14 (thank God)! I could not cross areas with my peers without a grownup supervision till I used to be 15 or sixteen, and obviously nonetheless had a curfew. I believe adults now in some way believe it would possibly not occur to their children, or they're simply too busy to detect what is going on. Alot of children/tweens haven't any mother or father dwelling after institution and are loose to do what they desire. I additionally believe that once younger women do get pregnant, that they particularly have to placed the little one up for adoption, in order that mature liable couples can undertake them right into a loving atmosphere. I understand a few females that began having children at sixteen, and had like four or five, and now their lives are beautiful messy.
