Do you mean resorts the northern part of the Philippines? If so, you can go to Bolinao, Pangasinan or some provinces in Ilocos Sur or Norte. You can go to Pagudpud. It's one great place and it is for sure that they offer cheap price of accomodation... There are resorts everywhere there since they are widely-visited but I'm not sure about the specific names... Take care...

If by the "North Areas" you include the Visayas I would highly recommend www.Palmas-del-mar,com in Bacolod. Great location, 2 swimming pools, reasonably priced. Mombahol hot springs is also nearby and a good place for the family to visit.
Villia Igang on Guimeras Island or Marbuena Island resort in Ajuy Iloilo. Sorry the last 3 places have no websites.

how about in Davao City??? It is great in here. You could go to Paradise, Samal, den, Malago and so much more.
