I remember watching this show in the 80's, possibly mid 80's like 1985 to 1987...
It had people dressing up as animals and they walked like humans. There was a fox who wore a top hat or a fancy hat and a coat, there was also a lion. One female animal was pinkish in color.

The New Zoo Revue. The pink character was Henrietta the Hippo. It sucked.

Do you mean "Zoobilee Zoo"? My kids used to watch that kid's program...They dressed up like different zoo animals, sang and danced
